Although by no means do I consider myself a professional photographer, I have learned a great deal over the years
photographing my own work for my website. My earliest work was done in my shop with a simple point and shoot camera and
one external flash. The background was then cut out in Photoshop, a tedious process leaving no shadows and single dimensional photos.
Today I have a decent digital SLR, a basic inexpensive monolight kit and a place to set up to take photos that gives
me space to work and set up a background. At the right are photos of some of my pieces.
Clicking on each one will show you the setup that I used to take the photo and details of the lens, focal length used,
exposure, other camera settings, and any post processing done. It will also show you a series of photos starting from
setting the first light, adding additional lights, reflectors, etc to get to the final product.
