Dining Table and Lazy Susan

Dining room table and lazy susan made from hard maple. Center supports are joined with half lap joints and connect to the legs with mortise and tenon joinery to make up the pedestal base. Top is 1" thick hard maple with floating aprons to keep the top flat. Shop made table clips keep aprons tight to top while allowing for seasonal expansion and contraction of the wood to prevent cracking. Built in leveling feet. Lazy susan made with 17" ABS plastic swivel unit for smooth and quiet operation.
