Television Stand

Television stand made from alder with quilted maple frame and panel doors. Frame is constructed with dovetail joinery and the inner compartments are attached with sliding dovetails. Two frame and quilted maple panel doors are attached with concealed European hinges. Two open compartments sized for standard components. Turned bun feet include a center foot to support the weight of heavier televisions. Pre-finished with shellac to seal the grain, red mahogany stain, a second sealer coat of shellac, coat of mahogany gel stain to even the color and a top coat of hand rubbed polyurethane. The quilted maple panels are finished before assembly with several coats of hand applied oil.
